Mizudashi Cold Brew Coffee Maker


Cold brew coffee is a favourite for us in the warmer months. Brewing coarsely ground coffee overnight, without exposing it to heat, releases an entirely different range of flavours from your beans. Chocolatey notes give the drink rich body and smooth mouthfeel, making for an intense combination with the boozy funkiness of natural process coffees, and the juicy complex notes from washed beans. There’s no trace of acidity or bitterness. Cold brew & tonic, served over ice with a slice of orange and a sprig of rosemary is also a delight.

This brewer is easy to use and clean. We tend to use 80g of coarse filter roast coffee per litre of water. Pour small amounts of water to wet the coffee grounds while dripping with a circular motion. Once filled, place the cap and gently shake the bottle to start the extraction. Refrigerate before serving.
